Study In Australia

Welcome to AIS Education Centre!
AIS Education Centre offers students a wide range of carefully selected Australian institutions. Our institution partners are chosen for their consistently high level of service and good international student feedback over many years.

Our team of professional, experienced education consultants based in Brisbane can assist you to plan your study experience to ensure that you get value and achieve your objectives.

You can do some initial research on our website but it is really through detailed discussion with our counsellors that you can begin creating a solid plan. We invite you to contact our head office any time via phone, fax or email. Alternatively, please visit our enquiry form page to begin your communication with our counsellors. Our advisory service is free.

Where To Start >>>
Here are a few key points to think about when making your big plan.
- Start by thinking about your career - what do you want to do after you finish studying?
- Choose the academic course that supports your career objectives.
- Plan the best "pathway" to get into your principal course.
- Choose an institution (or combination) that best suit your pathway.
- Alternatively, consider which city you would like to live in, then choose the institution.

This is a difficult process and there is a lot of poor information and advice available throughout the world. Contact our experienced Australian-based counsellors for detailed advice and support.    More>>

Permanent Residency >>>

Australia is a very multicultural society that welcomes skilled migrants from around the world. The Australian Immigration Department publishes a list of special skill areas that are needed in Australia. Students graduating from courses that provide them with these skills gain greater points toward permanent residency in Australia.

AIS Education Centre staff are regularly updated about both the skilled migation list and education providers that can supply the required skills. We are not a migration consultant but we can provide detailed information about suitable courses available in Australia.

If you are considering permanent residency, please advise our counsellors so they can assist you to choose the most suitable courses as well as tell you about their experience and student's experience as permanent residents.                 More>>

Planning a Pathway >>>

In creating a practical, economical study plan, it is very important to consider how to combine different courses into a pathway to reach your principal course.

Some institutions have "approved credit" pathways that allow you to reduce the total study time by gaining more credit.

Our counsellors are regularly involved in pathway planning and know many ways to reduce the time and cost of your study and visa packages.

Visa Information >>>

There are several different visas that can be used to study in Australia.

The main ones used by our students are:
STUDENT VISA - for full time students
studying for more than 12 weeks.
WORKING HOLIDAY VISA - a flexible visa that allows up to 16 weeks study and part time or full time employment.
VISITOR VISA - visitors to Australia may not work but they can study part time or full time to a limit of 12 weeks. This visa is popular for study tours and summer/winter holidays.

Contact your counsellor to discuss the most suitable visa for your needs and the costs and process for getting your visa.   More>>
